Picking up the phone with a text from Timo saying “what are you doing all day Thursday” leaves me fearful of answering, plus having only just checked the forecast I new an insane drive would ensue, just not the one we got. Instead of driving the ends of the earth it was just a quick run up to Silverstone to run around in a few cars from the Porsche centre.

Actually I thought a quick video would have worked better than a picture or two but fortunately I was too occupied with the steering wheel to do any filming, so the only pix were a couple of snaps at the end of the day.

I hardly need tell anyone how hot it’s been, packing the van for Tiree didn’t go so well as it was far too hot and despite a lack of wind the sea was still calling. Though if we can’t have wind I’ll take October in board shorts any day.
