Anyone caught out over night in the recent snowfall might find it hard to believe but it’s good to be home. Brightlingsea seems to have its own microclimate and while we welcome the warmer weather in summer, it just frustrated my kids this week. Aaron couldn’t wait to hear his school had closed because of adverse conditions.
Shame every morning brought little more than a dusting of snow, while less than two miles away the road were blocked by cars and vans slipping into ditches and each other. We finally joined frozen Brittan on Thursday with eight inches of snow and a closed school, finally the boys were happy.
Normally my gallery would be full of snowy scenes but thanks to an impact to my camera bag on my return from Thailand my camera has been out of action. So rather than leave and empty hole below, I though it was time to share all the pictures from Weymouth Speed Week.
