Pre Judged

01/12/2010

Was I complaining about too many trips last week, ok, I’ll be honest I’d probably pre judged the out come before I’d even left. The only thing I know about Thailand was it was over laden with lady boys and lacked a good blow; fortunately I only experienced the light wind but I’ll admit this is another blog where you don’t get to see all the pictures and that has nothing to do with lady boys.

I joined the editor form a Canadian windsurfing mag Windsport on a trip to Starboards home land, most of the images we returned with have to saved for another day and those I have picked out don’t tell the real story, well apart from Mark who succumbed to the punishing schedule and was caught cat napping.

Several pre 5am starts and a twenty five hour day, combined well with an internal flight and plenty of driving to bring even the best to there knees, though I’m not complaining as the result couldn’t have been so different from my expectations. Thailand should be on everyone’s wish list and that includes windsurfers as only the peoples nature could out class the stunning vistas.

Calling home was more to apologise for not bringing the wife, ok, maybe the charging pace wouldn’t have been to here liking but this once one paradise that not only turned my head but will having me returning with the family. Sure it’s no Maui when it comes to the sailing but this trip just dropped into my all time top three. And I didn’t want to go.
