Sometimes you just want to stay at home but with the testing going on and no one behind the lens I headed off to Prasonis in Rhodes. Guess the results won’t be shown for a while but I’ll apologize now, light wind and low motivation had me jumping on a plane home a couple of days later.
I’ll have to go back in awhile as it’s been far to long since I visited Christof Kirschner and his Pro Centre. Sure it’s a great spot but a personal thank you to him is long over due, back in the day it was Christof who not only pushed me to start Whiteboarders but also helped me through those first meetings.
I’m sure there’ll be time in the next weeks to enjoy a few windy days down there but for now it felt comfortable to be home with the family, and what a family. They say you can’t choose your parents and I’m sure I through that one around during my stroppy teenage years but who ever made that choice couldn’t have picked a better pair for me.
Dad was a legend but while Mum stayed out of the limelight she was his perfect match, affectionately known as the fiery dragon she’s kept us all together and on the strait and narrow, but seeing how her grandchildren have rallied round her it shows she’s everything but a dragon.
