Sunday was the first day I was allowed back on the water, strangely enough that just happened to coincide with the next Boards test. I’ll admit I may have had a little influence on the date but the way things have been lining up it looks like lady luck is sitting on my shoulder, from the moment we arrived at the airport it has just been too easy.
That almost sounds like I’m complaining, but when it everything goes this well you wonder when the wheels are going to come off. We turned up at the airport with far more kit that anyone should travel with and it all went down the tube without a hitch. Then we stepped on the plane to find our tickets had the lucky number that gave us extra legroom and as for the in flight meal, well lets be honest we don’t expect much in the way of taste these days but I’m calling it the best I’ve had since Lauder Air used real plates.
I’d like to say that run of luck continued once we arrived at the centre but I’d have to say that it wasn’t luck but Sam, he’s been organising everything you only have to think it and he’s already arranged it,, though I’m not sure we can credit him for the wind.
After a couple of lean weeks the wind kicked in as soon as we’d rigged and that looks to continue so what could go wrong. We’ll I guess you’ve come to realise I try to have this updated by Tuesday, well sorry for the delay but the wheels come off the bus, but that’s next weeks story, just don’t come back if you’re squeamish.
