After the last few weeks the idea of a day off felt good, not that there was much chance of that, Nik not only got married, he got the key to the house two hours before saying I do. Wedding pictures are great if it’s your wedding, or you were there so don’t worry I wont invite you round for a virtual slide show, I’ll save them for the bride and groom.
It maybe a blessing for Nik and Pam, but this is the first time in weeks we were left shore bound by the lack of wind, so I thought a few from my Boards beach reports would fill the gap. While it’s just a few random shots, it’s the Elk’s, those with extreme local knowledge that are the true storyteller’s, without them I couldn’t pull it together.
I’ve got to be honest the series feels a little biased to the south, but this is due to the weather and not design. There are several trips already arranged further north, but so far the forecasts haven’t presented more than a day or two in a row, frustratingly though I know reality has been different and a few good days have been missed.
Running around the country has ensured I’ve sailed more this year than any other, but I’ve come to realise you just can’t have enough plans, so if you and a bunch of mates want to show me round a few of you’re beaches please get in touch
For those with a strong stomach, here is the link to the stag trip, just don't blame me. VID
