Zero wind and a few kid gave me a good excuse to get the camera out, still a bit trial and error but at least it convinced the wife I do need to buy light meter. Though these pages are black and white, that didn’t stop a few getting the wrong message from last week’s text. It was in support the UK dealers and previous importer, Surf Sales.
I’ve had a good time with Graeme and Surf Sales and while he wont be bringing in Gaastra and Tabou in to the country, he will continue to support me with Dakine for the future. Not only me, Dakine are the headline sponsors for Weymouth Speed week, which is only a couple of weeks away.
Aaron’s spent most of the school holiday down at the skate / bmx park at home. Last time I took some pictures he looked petrified the second the wheel left the ramp. Pushed on by the older lads he’s looking a bit more comfortable, or at least that’s what his expression says, and with zero wind around it was a good time to try again.
I’m still trying to get the flash stuff sorted in my head, lots of guess work going on, but what I did learn was, I need to get a light meter. During the day the metering form the camera is so good I’ve never thought about getting one before, anyone got any good advice which one to get and why would be truly appreciated.
It’s that time of year where summer’s not sure if its time to make way for winter, and the wind is waiting for that final decision before unleashing its autumn storms. Sound like to good time to get make a few adjustments to the van.
